Fashion Talk! Hairstyles 2014

Hello dear readers,

How is your Thursday so far? The weekend is almost ahead and today I’m going to talk about Hairstyles. Some of them you might already know about from last season but this is what comes through the runway shows!

Low Ponytail: Last season it was all about a sleek ponytail. Now you don’t have to think so much about it. It can be messy. It can be loosen up and lose a few straps of hair. Don’t forget to play with accessories.

Straight and long: This look was also a last season’s favorite. This can be done with a hairdryer, not straightening irons because that would look to straight. You wanna go for relaxed straight hair, with a center part.

Waves: Nothing new here girls!! Waves framing your face in a soft way are GO! The secret here is conditioning and serums for the tips and that glow.

The Bob: The bob haircut is back. Whether its real of fake. These can be in all sizes of hair, sleek or messy. Textured or wavy.

Short hair:
Short hair is making a come back. Remember Emma Watson? Anne Hathaway and now the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence? Go for pixie cuts or something longer if you don’t want to cut so much. ( Dior Couture photo).

Hair accessories: Try on alice bands, butterflies, scarfs. You name it. Twist it in braids and accessorize it.

Up do: Up dos are seeing everywhere. Whether they are side parted, messy or more sleek. It’s easy to dress up or down.

Fringes: Again, nothing new but these can be more radical, depending on the type of hair you have. They can either be super straight, framing your face or completely messy looking.

  1. Straight and long you say? Well then I’m in luck because that is exactly what my hair naturally looks like 🙂 I also like fringes and bangs a lot, but they’re such a pain to grow out so next time I opt for a fringe I’m really gonna think long and hard about it.

Share your thoughts! xoxo Non
