Fashion Talk! Victoria & Albert Museum

Hello dear readers,

Remember London’s Victoria & Albert Museum (better known as the V&A) and their exhibition about ball gowns???Ballgowns – British Glamour Since 1950’ features around 60 dresses worn for private parties, royal balls, state occasions and opening nights so be prepared to fall head over heel with a dress, or three!
Here are some pictures in case you were wondering! Partly from the V&A’s incredible collection – think Zandra Rhodes and Hussein Chalyan – as well as dresses lent by designers such as Erdem and Jenny Packham, it’s set to be a real treat. While we can’t wait to see all of the dresses on show, we’re most excited to examine the selection of royal ballgowns on display – especially the one by couturier Norman Hartnell.
