Hello dear readers,
Today I bring you a suggestion if your happening to live or are just visiting London – the Victoria and Albert Museum at Cromwell Road – it’s the world’s greatest museum of art and design and it has amazing exhibitions on fashion as well. In a previous post I’ve mentioned the BallGowns exhibition, check here for the post, that’s still taking place until January 2013.
This time they have an exhibition on Hollywood Costumes that it’s all about ‘the role costume design plays in cinema storytelling’.You can see it all: from Dorothy’s The Wizard of Oz dress, to Audrey Hepburn’s classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s dress and even Keira Knightley’s famous green dress in Atonement. It’s all about bringing together 100 years of iconic design costume pieces in just one place! You can check out the clothes that were worn by Indiana Jones, Jack Sparrow and even Darth Vader as well!
