Today I’ll talk to you about one of the latest fashion trends for AW12! One of my favorites as well! You can try it now, I’ve used TopShop to make my looks! I’m sure it’s gotta be Autumn somewhere right?? This trend is my favorite because I’m a big fan of the 70′s glamour girls. I love the makeup, the cute trousers, the lovely girly dresses, the adorable caps..the shoes and the amazing bags. All very girly and classy..Do you know where the name ‘factory girl’ came from? You should see this movie then http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0432402/! With the lovely Sienna Miller! She plays Edie Sedgwick a 1960s underground film star, socialite, and Warhol Superstar. The iconic looks are a portrait of the 60′s and 70′s and they mix it up with Art from the factory. We can see examples of Pop Art culture everywhere. The cat eye makeup with the beehive hair and the big platform shoes with the plastic earrings is a classic look for this trend. Some artists today portray this look well like Adele or Lana del Rey! What say you?? Would you wear it?
Isn’t it curious that fashion always ends up going back to the 60′s? I guess it was an inspiring season for all right?
